Well, it's official: my best friend is beautiful y'all. Jess has been my tried and true since I've moved to Seattle. The only bummer is that she goes to the University of Washington, so we don't get to see each other as much as we'd like. Nonetheless, we snuck in some time to take some portraits and I think that these are some of my favorites I've done yet.

Chris Thurton

Chris Thurton was one of the first solid guy friends I made at SPU. He is a joy to be around, has such a heart for the Lord and can you get over that SMILE?! I asked Chris to model for me to get some practice for taking portraits and this. dude. should. model. He made it too easy for me and was so much fun to shoot with. (Ladies, he's single and he loves him some Jesus, so hit him up.) Thanks to Chris for being such a good sport and a babe of a model.

I haven't posted in a while and that's because I've been back and forth between South Carolina and getting back home. I went to Isle of Palms for my family vacation to see all of my mom's side of the family. Getting to see my cousins and they're new babies was so fun but I especially enjoyed getting to talk with my Mema who I don't get to see very often. She is such a hilarious and caring woman and I was just happy to be in her presence for a few days. Here are a few of the hundreds of pictures I took over the course of the week.

But more than anything, I was excited to hang out with these two nut jobs who happen to be my favorite people on the planet. I love you two, you get me through anything.
